Bathroom mold bugs. Mainly due to their attraction to moisture a number of bugs are typically found in bathrooms. Mold mites are very tiny insects that feed exclusively on fungal growth. Constant moisture in the bathroom can cause mildew and mold to grow and when it does mold mites may become a problem.
The mold eating bugs easily migrate from one wet spot to another where they quickly multiply. Outdoors mold mites live on decaying plants rotting wood and even bird nests. Mold mites are teeny tiny white to tan bugs that feed on mold.
Mold mites are tiny white or tan colored mites that are sometimes found in homes. Even if you keep your kitchen very clean if you have mold growing in your home you may be providing a buffet for bugs. They are usually associated with excess moisture that promotes mold growth and often occur in kitchens and bathrooms.
So if your home is damp has a water leak or high humidity which can cause damp walls or even a damp bathroom you may have mold and mold mites. The mites feed on mold and populations can grow rapidly. Some bugs even feed on soap scum and mildew in bathroom and of course bathrooms are often excellent breeding grounds for mold with all the warmth and moisture from the shower.
